    my cv joint just broke and i'm going to replace the whole drivers side axle and i need to know where to get a good quality one that isn't going to break on me and isn't that expensive like the genuine vw part is around $600 and i would prefer not to spend that much if i don't absolutely need to.

    I'm trying to replace the cv axles on my 97 jetta gl, but I'm having trouble taking out the bolts on the inner joint. Has anybody had a similar problem? I don't know what kind of bit to use on them, I tried hex bits and star bits but none of them work! It's breaking my head any advice? Anyone?
