I have a 2016 1.8t Sport and I'm looking to get a cold air intake but I'm not entirely sure what to look for. This is my first mod and I have heard that spending a lot on a CAI is dumb and a lot of the ones I found are in the $300's.
How would I go about making a cold air intake for my 85 Jetta, it's got the 1.8 with a 2.0 head. I'm just confused as to what I would do with the stock air box, considering the fuel line unit is attached to it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I'm in the processe of buying my 2001 Wolfsburg 1.8T it's Cold Air Intake, so far I've found the Injen, K&N Typhoon, and Neuspeed.
Which one is the best option, differences?

I am hoping to put a cold air intake in my 2006 jetta 2.5l. I was wondering if you guys knew which intakes are safe in rain and snow (I live in buffalo, ny). Also which brands are generally considered the best? Thanks!
