    Im wondering if there are any types of aftermarket mufflers that would not make the car sound too loud or "ricey". I have heard some Magnaflow mufflers and im thinking they are almost too loud. Just looking to get some different opinions for my car. Cheers.

    I have a 2000 VW Jetta 1.8t. I want to change the muffler and tips because I hate having almost no sound on the car and those little turn down tips. I was thinking of going Borla for the muffler and tip. What style muffler do I need? And is it possible to just do a single pipe coming out?

    i removed my muffler and resonator on my '01 vr6 then added a spectre intake. i talked to someone and they said i should put a muffler on it because the engine is tuned and set for back pressure and even reprograming, you run the risk of getting a massive ticked for no muffler (seattle, wa)...
