So just bought a BOV for my 03 Jetta 1.8t wolfsburg and its not as loud as i thought and wished it would be.. im researching and ive found some things saying it could be something called compression surge. it has a butterfly woosh sound and can barely be heard. im just not sure whats wrong and would like some help if anyone has any answers:p

re:

ya i know it isnt sounding right. its an adjustable one with an allen key, i played wirth it and no change. What valve is it your talkign about? its a greddy knock off i got for $100 off a friend.

Is it potentially causing harm, like should i put te stock divertor back on untill i can figure out whats wrong?

Also a friend told me i might not have enough boost to make the loud woosh sound due to my stock turbo only pushing 7-8 pounds of boost.

again any help is greatly apreciated it:confused:
