Hello everyone Im a owner of a 2007 jetta wolfsburg edition and lately im having difficulties. When i drive and the car is in around 1300rpm it makes a weird whistling sound. The second problem is when i driveand theres a bump my car makes a weird sound like the bottom is going to crack. Its really annoying. Can someone please help? Or atleast give me an advice how to fix it? Thanks waiting for your replies. Peace

I know this might seem dumb but you do know the Wolfsburg edition has a 2.0 turbocharged engine. That whistle is probably the turbo. Mine whistles and is even louder now with an intake. And the crackling. Does it do it when you turn or just when you are like driving straight or something?

Have you even taken a look at the bottom of the car? Or are these just assumptions its the exhaust because it may be more of a suspension issue

Ok that narrows it down.
Hmm. It might be weather stripping or air from the outside. Or even your mirror's making wind noise.
Now about the crackling. When does it do it?
When you turn, going straight, going through a dip or ?????

Yea when i go thru a dip. Its really annoying.

I am pretty sure it's your struts.
Mine were making a squeaky noise when I got a set of defective FK struts.
