hey guys,

i just got an 08 gli about 2 months ago. no mods except i'm getting the windows tinted today.

i haven't had much luck with it yet, since a "renegade shopping cart" came flying across the target parking lot rammed into the passenger side bumper ($400 to fix, target paid for it)

AND

i managed to run over a groundhog last week and now i need a new front bumper, valence, and the plastic fog light cover thing ($972, but only $100 deductible for comprehensive with state farm -- phew).

so yeah, no luck just yet, but besides those "incidents" and the godforsaken ipod dock in the center console, i'm a happy vw owner.

but yeah, hi. i like to go to meets and such so if you guys do that, i'm totally down.

find a local club for that. this place is hardly a community to even try and get something organized like that.

LOL! I totaly know what you mean! Getting my Nano to dock is like trying to put a puzzle together in the dark. Seems they forgot to include an adapter that actualy works with the Nano. The trick to it once you get it docked it to first make sure you only have 5 playlists. You won't be able to listen to any songs beyond that. Not the best design in the world.

BTW...Hope you car's desastermagneticitis gets better.
