Ok so I have my 95 mk3 aba and I'm planning a head swap and I can get my hands on a 1.8t head for $60 is it worth it over a 16v? I'm looking at going turbo and I'll be taking my time and doing everything right. Should I wait and find a 16v and get it ported? Or go with the 1.8t head swap? I wanna stay a 4cyl cuz the engine has only 107k on it, so don't tell me to swap in a vr...also the car will be parked and not driven till I'm done with the build.

Wait so your gonna swap over a 1.8 head to a 2.0 block? That's what in getting, also i didn't know the mk3 block was compatible with a mk4 head, especially a 1.8 head. Maybe I'm just really confused. Also a 12v vr swap or just a 1.8 mk3 swap would probably cost just the same as doing all the work on the aba.
Idk maybe I just need more explaining of of what the plan is
