1984 Volkswagen Jetta Mk1. Manual transmission, 5-speed. Manufactured in Wolfsburg, Germany. I purchased this a while back to use as a rallycross beater and just never got around to doing anything with it. Pretty solid car with typical corrosion at bottom of doors but the significant areas are where trunk floor meets rear panel, area previously (and poorly) repaired just under windshield and small hose in gutter above driver-side B-pillar. Driver’s door glass missing, otherwise complete as shown although there is a factory spare not pictured. Back seat is out and passenger seat simply off mount to provide access and room to replace fuel pump which is only known mechanical issue with car. It runs fine at idle or if driven slowly but once you accelerate you get about a mile before it quits as it can’t refill accumulator fast enough. I have a new fuel pump and may have it installed before end of auction. There is a clear Florida title for this vehicle. Items pictured on hood are original trim, driver’s door glass carrier and jack. Vehicle has factory AC but compressor not with car and hoses cut at compressor location. Tires hold air but need to be replaced, may get you somewhere on a tow-dolly. Thanks for looking! :)
