I finally got some pics of my project jetta.......sorry for the angles being so messed up i used my dads hunting game and trapping camera that you strap to a tree....... but its all i have........ as you can tell the front drivers side rim was begun to be spray painted..... dumb ass who owned it before me...... oh well i am getting them powder coated white....

(already have the above, except for seats, need to be installed)

thats about it for now...... someday some paint and minor body work........ you know!

Last night i sanded, primed and painted the hood white..... did it all with spray cans and a trigger top thing...... Came out almost perfect besides a spot of two in the middle where it bloched.... as of now it is ready for Wet sanding and 2-3 coats of lacquer

Will have pics soon... have some with it all taped off and half painted painted and i need some with the news paper off.... and some after the lacquer

Here are some pictures of it all taped and a couple different coats of paint.....
forgot to take on after the paper and tape was off..... but i can get one after the lacquer is on and all....

I have also put a name on this project........ 'Project Candy Cane' only because it will be all red and white when its done besides the plastic blk trim.....

UPDATES:

I finally got my starter fixed..... Turned out the starter was just a piece and it needed another one..

Hood has been wet sanded and ready for another can of white, then wet sand then lacquer........

Next week or so should be the oil change, new plug wires, another set of struts on, and the eibach coils............. possibly rims painted im hopeing!!!!!

Lacking on the car........ haven't done anything but put some 5" KC fog lights on the front...... kinda depressing me but my dad is sick and guess who pays the bills now???????

thank you..... will do a 1/4 mile in about 13... give or take a little.... Thats stock.... besides exhaust.... I will be getting new pics soon.... got a camera finally......

Yes i am very glad..... sad news though.... crushed the Hooker Header Muffler........ picked up a flowtech..... Not as loud.... but a pure performer...... Will have pics by this weekend...

Well....... the exhaust is working out right...... now from the cat back is in my trunk :S............ Just going to put an extension pipe in for now and save up for a full system headers back prolly Borla....

LMAO..... rockford is more like a little **** box with a nice system.......... JL isn't bad.......... but these MTX's bump the screws loose in the whole car........ got a 1000w Sony Xlop amp, 2 MTX 250W 12" woofers, Sony Xplod head unit, and all the wiring for sale...

if ur gonna put fogs in at least fab them into the grill/bumper and slightly smaller ones wouldnt hurt

I was going to put them hanging from the bottom towards the ground but too low...... I put them ontop to give it that European Ralley car look.... Thats why I haven't bought new wheels in a bigger size.......

Once I am finished I want the ralley car look not the straight street look..... I am going to get the glass smoked to a purple black color and paint the wires black......

I just look for 'original' things to do with it... The ralley car theme also why I have douglas performance GT-h tires..... kind on off road but with a street look...

Edit: I may take them oof they do weigh a lot on the bumper which is being help on with screws because the brackets broke... haha

Well I have some slightly good news....... I just got a supercharged 1.8 for my jetta..... yes a 1.8..... but let me tell you one thing.... my friend has a 01 VW Golf GTI VR6 with only 90k and he said it would be right there if not faster....... Hopefully i can get some pics on soon......

I haven't posted anything in awhile about my jetta i think its about time....... only bad thing is no pics yet .......

I have decided to paint it canary yellow and either black or white........ dont ask i just thought it would stand out nice and I have seen a couple different ones yellowish and looked nice..... Haven't done much to it.... tail light is all messed up gotta fix that.... other than that still mashin along in it......

Oh...... got pulled over twice for loud exhaust..... kinda sucked both warnings though....

EDIT: Fog lights fell off......... aswell as ripped my bumper off driving down the road so no more lights..... just bit holes where they were mounted...
