i gotta 1999.5 jetta gls with tha 2.0 its got a bad problem but cant figure it out ive put a completly new exhaust on it tryin to fix it new filters freash tune up but nothing has helped really except the filters which helped the idle but not while drivin wat else can it be

Sounds likea throttle body. Unhook battery. Replace Tbody. Install battery. Drive.
If you have a vag com, perform basic settings 60 to adapt throttle body after hooking up battery.
