I bought the car last October with 100k miles and have had problems ever since. I had the automatic transmission rebuilt after the gears started slipping and almost immediately after, the car started having different sorts of problems.
Upon take off in 1st gear, the car will delay for a couple seconds til the rpm's reach 2-3k. It doesn't do it when the MAF is unplugged or when the AC is running. If I accelerate to 4k rpm the car will suddenly spin out on take off.
I need to get my yearly inspection done and im a college student low on money. I want to know if this is something I would be able to fix myself or will I have to take it to the mechanic.
I would really appreciate any help out there. Thanks
