I have a 2001 Jetta 2.0 5spd. 260+ On Odometer Recently purchased. When purchasing didn’t realize water pump was trashed and no thermostat in the housing. Replaced water pump and put thermostat in. Ran great. Next changed oil and filter. Went about A lil over 1,500miles on new oil change and Oil light buzzed really loud and flashed a few times then went off. Pulled over let it cool down checked oil and the level was good. Stated it back up made it home. Then drove it all week long then randomly it did it again so I checked it again and level was fine.

Wanted to see what you Jetta junkies thought or any info you guys could learn me and help me with!

I'd definitely invest in VCDS (Or a cheap scanner of some sort) so you can look at your oil pressure, you really don't want to be driving it if it keeps flashing an oil light

I will probably have to go to a master, because I have the same problem.
