Aren't the low beams the outside ones, and the highs the inside?

The HID, the outer ones, are low beam, you have the arrows pointing
at the inner ones, which are high-beam. Everything I saw says the
lows are the outer, hi-beam inner, even non HID housings.

Hand brake off.

It's amazing there is confusion about which lights are which. Even more amazing that I have owed the car since new (16yrs) and
can't confirm.

But you may be right. I do know that the outside lights get much brighter when I activate high beam.

So let me reword this ... my inside lights don't come on ... grin .

I know the outsides are HID ... are the insides that too. Maybe its a control unit for HiD\\

I hate it when a guy posts, and never comes back to let you know how he made out.

sooo..

My A/C and headlights are still not working. I got a A/C kit and in a week when get paid, I'll have someone else put it on.

No headlights still, I did all the first aid stuff. Light switch, fuses, bulbs ... Prob have the same guy look at the lights at
the same time.

I will report back when and if these things get fixed.

The HIDs, if all is OEM, outside are low beam anyway. The inside ones are
halogen high beam. Either they're wired wrong in an aftermarket housing,
or it's just all screwed up.

Old thread, I know.
Outside are Low beam HID lights. Inside lights are High Beam, and the Ground for the high beams are supplied when the HID bulbs are correctly installed. The High beams will not work if the HID bulbs are not installed. You can check by placing jumper from ground to High Beam Halogen bulb.

Only the pass side HID works. I have traced it to the wiring to the HID on the driver side, and Now wondering where the fuse(s) are located. The haynes I have is worthless for muchinformation. eg. "Go to dealer if you need the HID's changed"[email protected]#$%#@.

I will continue to search the forum for more information on this issue.
