The driver door and front passenger door should unlock as you open them from the inside. The 2 rear doors do stay locked no matter what though unless you hit the unlock button. Are you talking about the rear 2 only?

I think the person is referring to the fact that just like my 2006 Jetta, no matter what I do the doors are constantly locking behind me and I only have one key with fob
