Hey so my friend put shaving cream all over my car and it seems to have turned the part in between the windows (Black colored) Maybe called window panel, like a lighter black then it was and seems to be oxidized even though its not. Theres like white spots on it and it is very annoying. I was wondering how i can remove these stains and make the black stand out again. Thanks Alot
The part you're describing is the B-Pillar and it's finished in matte black which makes cleaning it a bit tricky. Don't use anything abrasive like polish or you'll make it worse. A cheap solution is to try some rubbing alchohol and a microfiber cloth. If that does'nt work you can buy some pre-wax cleaner. I use BlackBox cleaner on mine but I already had the kit for my other car (which is black).
