Hi, Just joined, just purchased the above subject car. I don't yet know much about the car. Appears from my inspection it was pretty well cared for, has ~71K miles, drives really well. I was targeting an used Subaru when I found this car. I really liked the way the car drove so I bought it. Only got one key with the car, any nuggets of wisdom about where to get a replacement other then dealer? I'm sure there's a cheaper alternative.

Thanks in advance,
John

You can find the keys aftermarket but you'll have to find a place to cut it, then you will need to find a place to have the key programmed with the immobilizer of the car and last you'll need to get the remote portion programmed, I would call a locksmith to see if they cut and program vw keys

Have this car in manual but never getting rid of it. So far the manifold, stage 2 software upgrade, short shifter, coilovers, exhaust, intake, wheels amongst other things have been replaced. Never any issues except the common lamp indicator coming on and off. Its my work horse and hella fun to drive.
