My Jetta is running completely smoothly,no misfire,no skipping but bogs and is powerless running in limp mode. Code an EPC light once but no code. Its rpm is lower than usual at idle, slightly hesitant at take off.but smooth after. Powerless,won't Rev more 3000 rpm . Help please. Anyone know what the problem could possibly be??

Check all your fluids first, then get it scanned asap at a independent vw shop. It does not have to have a check engine light on it to have stored codes. Don't guess. I went through this a year ago and it threw a hidden crank sensor code.
That ecu light means it wants to throw a code. Did you have the throttle body and maf cleaned ?My scanner wouldn't read mine. Napa's did.
Do you overfill the tank after it clicks off? If you do stop it. It destroys the purge valve (n80) .Very common on vw's .If you do the damage is most likely done. Also clean and inspect the seal on the gas cap.
