My daughter recently bought a 2017 1.4T SE with approximately 50k miles on it. Car is clean, as well as the Carfax. When she got in it today to start it she got a weird message on the dash about the oil pressure being low and to turn off the engine immediately. She did and turned it back on and the message went away. I’m thinking bad oil pressure sensor switch? The car ran fine and didn’t make any strange noises. Anyone else ever have this problem? I plan on getting it looked at ASAP. We did purchase a service contract. Thanks in advance!

Maybe there is something wrong with the car, or there is really not enough oil pressure

Brought it to Volkswagen for service. It was the oil pressure sensor switch. Better than the alternative.
