I have a 98 Jetta ive been running....went fine...sat in the yard for about a month and it kept dying out. It was low on gas so i thought it was just sucking up enough to make it idle....but that appears not to be it after i put gas in it....so i thought the fuel filter might be plugged....but it wasnt...so i thought fuel pump...but i dont want to guess on a $350 part. When i unplugged the sensor on the throttle body it ran fine up and down the road....just not alot of power...could it be the throttle body? Or does that sound like the pump....looking for and point in the right direction...thanks

sounds to me like your gas may have separated and gummed things up.. did you replace the filter or just check it? I would put a new filter in if you have not and fill the tank completely with gas and a couple bottles of injector cleaner.
