about oil filters

anyone know if the orange plug or nipple looking thing that is visable after unscrewing the cap on bottom of oil filer container removable for draining of the filter container before unscrewing from the block? thanks.

take a screw driver and push that nipple up and over to let the oil drain. then re seat it before filling

There is a tool for it on ecs tuning's website; you screw the thing into the orange thing and it drains the oil through a tube; its 50 bucks but its definitely much cleaner.
