Neone know what would cause the airbag alert to come on????

normally it always comes on when you first stick your key in and on (normal for me anyway)

it comes up on the digital display "airbag fault"

yeah thats what im thinkin umm it didnt come up un till yesterday but i reckon ill go get it checked out.. thanks for ur help on everything by the way

i'm guessing a short in a wire.

np btw, im only 3 weeks into my V-Dub but i've learned a lot tearing it half apart lol

CAI/Seafoam/Head Unit/Sub&Amp Wiring....yea i've been gettin it done hehe

Probs a wire short. I do know that the switches under the seats (if they are heated seats) can mess with the airbag sensors sometimes. Other than that though I have no idea. A trip to the stealership is probably in order haha.
