Hey guys hope you have some ideas!

So here is what i have, 2003 jetta w/1.8t manual 5 speed

when i let out the clutch when its cold or when i get on it when im driving around(when cold) there is a clicking / chatter that sounds like a cv shaft. this also happens when i turn sharp right. doesnt seem to happen or at least that i can hear when its all warmed up.

Any ideas on what it could be, just replaced cv shafts and changed the trans fluid and still does it!

really any ideas would be greatly appreciated!! thanks for the help!!

Thanks for the reply, no it only does it as i am letting out the clutch or when it is fully engaged and i accelerate hard. Brought it to a shop they said could be motor mounts or clutch but they are not sure.. any other ideas to throw out there?

Just noticed mine doing it on sharp right turns this morning. I believe its my mounts. At idle and letting off clutch with a load i get a small chatter so i also suspect the throwout.

sent from a payphone using quarters
