Just bought 2001 gls 2.0 (stock). Thinking about building custom SRI due to low funds, anyone else done this? Does it add any hp? Better fuel economy? Sound cooler? Suggestions and tips please!

If you want one, do it. The prices for these bits of plastic are asinine. As long as it doesnt look ghetto.

This question has been answered many times Ty the search button an intake really is for the sound and looks unless your tuning forced induction it's not gonna make much of a difference

It's a 2.0, don't waste your time or money. If anything, swap in a spectre or k&n panel filter. I think the stock airbox in the 2.0 looks much better then a cone filter anyways..

thanks for the suggestions! I have decided to get a k&n high flow filter (panel) like I4N is talking about. Does anyone know of any cool exterior mods that would easy enough for a NooBie such as myself?

An easy one that does he most change is a gti front end swap just need to find a car with the same paint to repeal front ends
