Howdy. Went out to my Jetta and turned the key, didn't start and no dash lights (only the DLR light). Oh...okay. A little bit of research and I see that it is most likely the ignition switch. Fantastic....I got the ignition switch in tonight and to no avail, still no lights. The car won't start. I can't see any blown fuses, the battery is charged and all lights work. What else could I check? The car is a 2006 Jetta TDI. Please any help would be greatly appreciated.

The only light to come on when you turn the key is the "Daytime Running Lights" indicator on the dash. No other lights appear on the dash. All electrical components such as the interior lights, headlights, radio, door locks....everything works. Thank you in advance.

sounds like the cluster may have stopped working, I had an issue like this everything worked except things controlled by one of the plugs, may sound dumb have you checked all of your fuses?

Yes....all fuses have been checked, taken out, and securely put back in place just in case one of them was loose. This includes the box by the battery as well as drivers side door. No blown nor loose fuses. Battery terminals have been re-tightened and battery is holding a strong charge.
