I think the only way to disable DRL is with Vag. Where do you find a vag? or can this be done another way?

Might be able to do it on a VAG401 if supported. I am
experimenting with the tool now, and can be had for as
low as $59.00 shipped, Ebay.

You can code with the VAG401, I just do not know which
block DLRs are, and what to change... I think it's based on
VCDS Version 401, just not as detailed on a hand scan-tool.
They do updates too...

This tool is NOT just a cheap tool, it's a professional diagnostic
tool. I got mine for $59.00 on ebay; best offer accepted...

Same with myturbodisel.com -total hypocrites. They'll allow you to talk about DPF EGR
deletes, and circumventing pollution controls, but talk about a Chinese VCDS and
they go bat-**** bananas. They can all go to hell.

As I said, I would keep up with the VAG-401 stuff here, but you can't edit your posts after
a certain time, and I would need to keep adding to it, rather than a new reply each time, with
other people's replies in between; makes it messy.
