Hi all,

I have a problem with my jetta 2007 , the light telling me that my door is open as well as my light at the bottom of the door does not light up. What do I need to do to diagnose my Jetta?

you need a new door lock/latch. There is a switch in the lock mechanism that tells the computer the door is open or shut that gets screwed up over time and is now stuck in one position. As for the light at bottom of door,....it probably burnt out since its was on all the time thinking door was open. Good luck to you
