I believe that Metra, Scosche, and AI all make kits (at least they are available for the MKV) - I used an AI double din for my install, which came out like this:)

Check out there on that interweb thingy - the info you need should be out there... you might also want to see if there's any available on eBay. I'd also follow up with ENRGZR, since he's got a double DIN setup in his... saw your post there. I'm not sure whether his kit was supplied by Kenwood w/the head unit, or Best Buy with the install - he could probably clear that up for you. Whatever you decide - good luck with your project!

for mine. The head unit clicked into place, and then that trim piece(included) snapped in around the head unit

Double DIN Install in 04 jetta

Just thought I'd write that no install kit is neccessary for installing a double din in the 04 jetta. I got a kenwood DNX 8120 and it slid right in. I did make slightly more room in the back by cutting out a piece of plastic, but the unit went right in and the tfim plate supplied by kenwood fit and matched perfectly.

Re: Double DIN Install in 04 jetta

if you didn't buy the unit yet, you could also buy a single DIN with a flip out screen. That'll save a lil space and you could keep the storeage hole, or you could install the three gauges there if you want.
