Are they rough when your in the sport mode or just the regular drive mode?

I've noticed that mine will occasionally "clunk" into 2nd gear when I first get moving in the morning. Doesn't seem to do it after that. Don't know if it's normal or not and I know I won't be able to get it to repeat at the dealership so I'm not sure what to do. The loaners the dealer gives you are monster trucks which you're responsible for the gas so I don't want to leave it overnight. Quite the cunundrum.
it has done it in the regular mode. I know the clunk you're talking about, mine does that also. But what happened to me was after driving awhile down the highway I got on an exit ramp and was braking pretty hard but nothing crazy, and it seemed like it couldn't figure out what gear it needed to be in,,,,,hope this isn't another crappy trans for the jetta
Transmission mount?

I noticed on my 2.0T with DSG that shifting in D-mode was a touch sloppy. Not banging-in the gears with a clunk, just seemed like it was late-shifting downshifts when, say, slowing down and making a turn onto another street. Just a little sloppy for me. APR Stage 1 really firmed-up the shift points for me.
Every automatic car I've ever driven has had some instances of not being in the correct gear when pulling out of a turn. I don't know what I'm doing wrong. I have DSG now and in D it shifts smooth, but when its cold, the 1-2 shift is clunky, but as soon as it warms up its fine, which I've been told is normal. Now I drive in tiptronic all the time. I'm never buying another automatic again no matter how technologically advanced it is.
