If you live in a place thats cold in the winter your going to ruin your car quik unless you give it a lot of warm up time ever time you start it..... If your in the colder climates I wouldn't recommend it...
Dual Cold air intake for vr6?
I want to make a custom dual cold air intake for my 95 jetta glx vr6. Has anyone done this to there car and if so where to start. I wanna make sure i dont overwrite any sensors.

I doubt it....... Just everything high flow on your exhaust.... High flow down pipe, cat, and muffler with like a 2 1/2 to 3 inch pipe....
3" = overkill unless your goin turbo...

yea a 2.5 would do good or even 2 1/4 would be just about perfect..... good luck..

whats the point of the dual intake? it will all be going to 1 tube eventually...... an intake in cold climates has nothing to do with car warmup... t-stat, fan and coolant takes care of that......it is recommend it to drive the car right away to warmup quicker nicely.....dont go redlining it until its warmed up.
hmmm.. unless you do it like a big V(6,8,10,12) block engine or something and make 2 intake manifolds. for one bank of cylinders and one for the other bank i dont see th point of 2 CAI's.
that would be because there is no point aside from upping your ricer points.

Not to sound harsh but I would try to find a single CAI that has a CARB number.
Do you get your car smogged? Cause even a single CAI is a tough find for the smog restrictions in this state.
