Hi guys i'm new to the forum driving a jetta mk2 cli 1800 8v 89model drives nicely,but want to do a mod to my engine have 8000 to spend on motor any ideas out there...please help.

UDP (not sure about jetta's though)
Turbo (intercooler, pistons, cam, valves/springs)
Ignition
ECU

Just start off with small stuff........ exhaust, air intake, suspension..... cammed... jetted.... ect... turbos superchargers...

i've obviously never looked, but try to see if K&N makes a replacement drop-in filter for your Jetta. they can add quite some surprising HP... On the new Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X, a drop-in added as much as 14hp to the wheels! (obviously not going to be THAT much on the Jetta, but it should add between 2-8whp depending on how dirty and restrictive your current air filter is)
