I just bought a 1999 jetta 2.0 GL. I never would have even thought of getting one but I love it. However, within 24 hours of me having it the engine seized up! the dealer that I bought it off of told me he would put a new motor with less miles on it and give me a year warrantee with it along with the 90 day that I get from the junkyard. I want to get some feedback and see if I made the right decision

Same thing happend to me with a non VW but the new engine worked out and no probs for the rest of the time I had it. make sure you get the info on the new engine.. before it goes in and ROCK ON 2.0's [rockn]
