Eurosport is definetly a nice sounding good performing catback......... Borla is also another one of my favs....... Try to find something that doesn't sound like a tin can with a rattle snake it in..

I'd suggest looking into some straight german pipes too, Fox.... Great performer..

Good luck mate

personally i'd go custom and build my own but not everyone has access to the stuff i do.

for me its hard to say cause i havnt had any experience with exhaust mods. my last car was totaled and the day after i received the exhaust system i ordered for it :(

Custom is definitly the way to go.

Just buy a bunch of straight pipe, a few 45 and 90 degree mandrel bends, and your set. All you need after that is a bandsaw to cut proper lengths, and a MIG (or preferred TIG) welder. Thats it... Other than that just the resonators you want.

I personally have 2 resonators from ford focuses lol makes a good deep gargle sound but at the same time isn't obnoxiously loud. Just note that if you get resonators from other cars, you're going to have to cut the openings bigger so that your 2.5 or 3'' piping will fit in! You can also make your own if you have access to basic fabrication equipment, but its easier to go to a junkyard and grab some for pocket change.

The only advantage to buying a kit is well... Nothing but sound. They'll all flow about the same, and custom is WAY cheaper. Plus, you can hack and whack it till you get the tone you want.

Oh and buy the exhaust tip you want. I have the stock one right now... Thinking about the EIP one. Cheap and sexy lol.

Have fun!

If you're lookin for sound then youtube jetta 1.8T exhaust, LOTS on there. Everything from Borla to techtonics to custom to the common magnaflow.

But again they'll all flow pretty much the same unless you go up in diameter.

Good luck!
