Hi,
My name is Mike, I have had my 2000 Jetta 2.0 for a year now and finally have some money to put into it. I need your advice on something i could get to get some quick acceleration with out spending a fortune on a turbo or a major part. But some input would be nice.

THANKS!

It seems like everything is a fortune now! I still recommend going suspension (wheels, tires also) first as it makes a big difference. If you must go straight for the gain then I agree with GT going with chipping and exhaust etc.

doesnt TT also make a chip? i think the major chips are:

techtonics
neuspeed
giac
autotech???

from what i hear people swear by TT and giac. and yeah wheels first. thats what im doin. no point in having power if you cant put it down.

yeah APR also makes a chip. I had APR and it was pretty good, but GIAC is the best for your money from what I've heard. You might wanna hold on, REVO just made a 2.5liter upgrade for the non turbo MKV's so they might make one for the 2.0 MKIV's too but Im not sure so dont hold me to that.
