Hey all,

I traded in my Saturn Ion on Wed night for an '04 Jetta. I love it. There's no comparison in terms of comfort and ride/handling. REAL nice. And the Monsoon is a big step up from my Saturn Ion stock system!

That is great to hear!! I hope you have many more years of vw loving to come. When I traded up my 03 neon for my 03 jetta I could not have been more enthused it was a huge upgrade car wise and the jetta was 5 grand less.

nice choice man, I had an 02 1.8t and I loved it. Drivin an 06 GLI now .. and right before that had a 91 Jetta Coupe .. I love em lol, good luck with everything man

Thanks. Lovin' it so far. Have to get it checked out in the upcoming weeks to make sure nothing is out of wack. It's still under warranty and the extended one kicks in soon too so I'm covered. Thank God.

Thats cool. I've noticed it has so many extras that more expensive cars cars have. At least that's from my perspective.

yeah definitely man, I mean I had a base model 1.8t and it still had more **** than most cars have these days, Ill tell u what tho I paid 20g for my 06gli and its worth every penny, what model did you get.... 2.0 vr6 or 1.8t?

GLS 2.0. It was a bit pricey but not because of the car, because of my trade. I unwittingly signed a lease when I got the Saturn cause the sales guy thought it would make the pmt's a bit tastier. Welp, live and learn! I'm quite upside-down on this loan, but if I had to be upside down, it would be in this ride.

Hey, since you've got your eyes on this thread, what do you think this is in the trunk:



NeverFast took a peek at it and thought what I thought. An amp of some sort. I thought a subwoofer (without being an audiophile). What do you think?

yeah if I had to guess I'd say it's an amp also but I'd have to see it in person cause my friend Jim actually has a 6cd changer in his trunk similarly installed.
