My head light switch is broken, specifically the knob. Therefore I cannot push it inward and turn it to the right in order to release the switch, but I need to in order to replace it. Is there any other way of removing the headlight switch?

I have tried removing the lower part of the dash, but there is one screw that you cannot access without removing the headlight switch first....so, I can't go about it that way.

This is what the back of my headlight switch looks like.

Thank you in advance for your help!

Lol this isnt going to sound good but attack it with a screw driver. when you push it in and turn it, it moves the little hooks that hold it in place out of the way so it will slide out. without either hollowing the whole thing out, or finding a way to make it push in a twist i think your screwed. but other people may have better ideas, but im going to stick with drilling out the interior of your current switch and taking it out piece by piece.

thats what I would do, start to destroy it carefully that is, and then just take it out piece by piece
