i dont have a jeta yet and i dont have any experience in VW. i was wondering wich engines in the 04-06 jettas is going to be the cheapest and easiest to build up and have the most parts. ive noticed the 1.8t and the 2.0t do but the onl engine if seen in the 06 jettas is the 2.5 5 cylinder and i havent really been able to find many parts out there for it.

honestly...why do you want a 04 to 06 jetta?...is there any reason (Just wondering) I just bought a 01 wolfsburg and im completely happy with it, 1.8t arent too bad depending on what your wanting to do to the car..

i'm not personally into the mkv jettas..i feel they're too rounded off and they seem way bigger than the mkIv's. i like the 1.8t engine...i don't have it but from what i've seen it's very easy to work with..i have the VR6 which i'm in love with it...there's alot you can do with it and you get good power out of it especially if you have the GLI like i do =)
