Does any one know of or have a humming noise under their car? i know on my 01 1.8t, the noise comes on whenever i hit the brake. if i start it up, and let it idle for about 5 mins., or so it goes off, but as soon i hit the brake to put it in gear, it starts humming again, and when im sitting at a light, its really annoying, i think i narrowed it down to the brake vaccum pump, but just want to verify, and also find out how easy it is to replace...

Dude! I have no earthly idea without hearing the noise. But I would be very interested in hearing the conclusion to this problem.

you know what man, i still havent got under there yet, but....dam i dunno ill look its definanlty automatic.......****, lol i dint even think of that....i been busy this week with pre-deployment crap, i will get to it this weekend though.

mind u as well, this humming noise is loud as f*ck. I though mayb a fuel pump, but to far to the front of the car. so i got some input that it mayb the brake vacuum thing.
