I've done it with my Saturn Ion which I traded in just last week for my Jetta. It definitely makes a difference in fuel economy. I just started doing this yesterday in my new car to see what kind of difference it makes in the Jetta. It helps save money, but it's a real drag to drive this slow and other motorists want to shoot my tires out too. :tickedoff:

I would be shot if I tried this in my area. I have driven in the SeaTac area, and it is, ummm ... interesting. Nobody goes over 55 mph on the freeway and they leave like 200 feet of seperation between cars. It feels very Disney like. But, on the other hand, there are not many accidents either. Maybe we all need to slow down. NOT!!
