AEM is what i am looking in to for my 92 MKII...... seems popular around my area and i have plenty of good hearings on them....

Neuspeed makes a load of high performance ****....... really nice stuff but all pretty pricey.......... I was thinkming a chip from neuspeed for my jetta but i was like hell no......

i bought my intake on ebay..the way i looked at it..it's a pipe and a cone filter...made my jetta louder..and it pulls harder...i paid 50 for it.. haha mad cheap but i'm just starting out..i'm looking to get an ESE intake later on

So What should one put on the 08 MkV? and will i need to have it professionally installed. AND....will it void any kind of waranty and make a CEL come on?

custom made a ram air for my mkii....its a ractive brand i think for a mki...repainted it red and had to fabricate the mounting plate for the digi, and made a bracket. Sounds bad ass....looks ok...and cost me around $15

Its actually not just a pipe. The ones you pay more for not only have better fitment, but different quality metals/plastics disapate and reflect heat better. Its all about getting cold air into the system, not hot air

i'm new to the whole vw world. but my friend said he goes for nothing but injen tech. when it comes to performance mods on his gti...
