Hey, all. Noob 08 Jetta SE owner here. I was really hoping that someone would be able to help me out with this. My Jetta comes with an iPod dock, but no aux input. I have no iPods, but several other MP3 players. Is there a way to swap out the iPod dock and wire in an aux jack? I've talked to several dealers around the LA area and none seem to think it's possible. Oh...it also has 6CD in dash and Sirius. Please help and thanks!

Are you sure there is no Aux? I thought even with the iPod adapter, there was still an input in the center console.

Unfortunately, no. Volkswagen says there's nothing they can do...maybe something after market. I haven't found anything though. The iPod controls really blow, too. It doesn't show any song information on the deck, and with the iPod in the armrest, if you're not shuffling, it's pretty much worthless.
