Hello! I've been lurking here for a while trying to learn about the new Jetta SportWagen SE and figured I should join and participate. My wife and I bought what must have been the only lemon '04 Subaru Forester 5-Speed ever built and are seeking a replacement. The new Jetta SportWagen fits the bill pretty well with its 5-Speed stick, generous luggage capacity, cool looks and good fuel economy. We haven't bought one yet, but want to learn more.
I'm a quaisi-gearhead. Our other vehicles are a '06 Nissan Frontier SE 4x2 Crew Cab 6-Speed stick (a wonderful truck that's a blast to drive) and a 225,000 Mile '92 Mitsu 5-Speed stick.
