so i changed the cap and rotor arm on my digi2 jetta i timed the engine changed the air filter and it still wont start it cranks but wont start, before it would start and then die after i rev it. i have fuel and spark could any other suggestions?

Cheap chinese cap? check for hairline cracks. Double check your plugwires and youve got the right cylinders. Double check your timing.

nope got everything from ecstuning i noticed the ignition coil wire had one end that was broke but even before this happened it was just cranking and not starting, ive kind of narrowed it down to the hal sensor after various tests i will verify this after buying a new one
