I've done a full mk3 dash swap in my '91 diesel, and have a couple questions about the cluster.
*Is the gasser fuel gauge compatable with that of diesels?(mk2 and mk3)
*how far off should I expect the fuel gauge to be?
*can a mk3 diesel sending unit be installed in the mk2 tank?
*Is there any other way of correcting the gauge besides a tank swap? (mk3 diesels are hard to come by)
If I can find a mk3 diesel, I'll probably pull the tank and the gauges; but for now I need some info so I can drive it will a idea of how much fuel I have so I don't run it dry.
