Hey guys! I joined the site because my Mk. IV 1.8t Jetta has been having problems and I desperately needed help.
I was under the car the other day trying to locate the source of my exhaust leak and discovered, quite shockingly, my cat was no longer connected to anything. The downpipe had snapped right at the weld...which in retrospect explains why the car sounds so riced out.
