Does anyone have these installed on their MK3 Jetta? Is it really plug n play?

Cant just be plug and play. You will either have to tap into your wiring harness, or they will give you one to swap out. Its not plug and play, but not too dificult either. Id look into ecodes also. They are a little more clean, have better light output, and a little cheaper. In my opinion look a lot better on vw's too.
