So instead of paying $200 for best buy to do it i thought i would save money and do it myself. no big deal right? WRONG!! i've been trying to look for DIY subwoofer or amp stuff but never got any for MK4s. I know i need the keys and that was easy (walmart) but now i'm faced with the tough task of finding a place to run my power wire to the battery! i can barely even take off trim with those damn star screws

someone please help so i can atleast get my wires ran today.

I just ran the power on the driver side (not under any trim, I just used a wire sleeve) and the remote/ audio cable down the middle. Remember do not run the audio cable with the power because it can distort the sound.

theres an opening above the pedals,,,u just have to push out the little rubber grommet thing

If you look right above and behind the brake fluid rez you can see the black plug from under the hood. I just popped that out and drilled a small hole through it so to run the wire through. It comes out above the pedals like jedduh said.

Now I can finally enjoy dubstep in my v dub
