almost everything is stock on the car except for the few things i've done to it..in the future i'd like to throw in a short throw shifter do the headers, exhaust...not really focusing on looks yet..but i'd like to paint my rims..no money to buy any lol..any suggestions on color and brand?

As for the wheels - ENRGZR said it elsewhere, and I concur, that there are very few VW OEM wheels I don't like. These ones are pretty sharp, particularly with the interior of them painted as they are. I'm thinking these would look GREAT if you broke out the buffer, and polished them up on the flats of the spokes... (unless that's not what you're after). Good luck with whatever you decide!

also forgot to mention..i'd like to do alot of carbon fiber to it ..carbon fiber hood, body kit, trunk etc..would still like to keep the stock look on the jetta just b.c its mad sexy lol

all body kits for vw's look like trash. As for exhaust go with autotech or magnaflow. Headers are pointless on a vr, there are no real power gains.

I agree p0wer...... most of the older jettas when lowered look like they have a body kit anyways..... Depends on if you want to lower it or not..... Exhaust Eurosport Catback........ straight up european, even though i have a hooker..... lol....... I'd paint the rims a black or a teflon color.....

so i went to the paint shop to see how much they'd charge for my rims to get painted...1200...i might as well get new rims...cuz that is unbelievable..next thing i might try is headers and the eurosport exhaust..thanks Untitled

you went to the wrong shop then. I can get all 4 of those wheels powdercoated for 150
It's not even that hard to paint them up yourself..... Just take like 260-320 gritt paper and scuff them all to hell..... primer, wet sand, primer, wet sand, paint, wet sand, paint wet sand, untiil you have as many coats as you want then just wet sand it and put the lacquer to it.....

make sure you use self etching prime, it works a lot better on metal
