the other day i was doing a compresion test on dub & disconected the ciol wire from the cap and left it dangling. after i was done the car would turn over but wouldent start. the coil & icm was replaced still nothing tested the coil and found that i have no ground to the coil whe the key is on any body had this happen before?[wtf]

Have you tried cleaning the grounds, making usre there is good contact? Are you getting enough voltage through it?

not yet but i made a nother discovery to my situation when ever my car is in the on position i loose power to my coil then i turn it off everything test good what would cause my coil loose the voltage?

Sounds like maybe a battery issue...Something is draining your power? DO you have any aftermarket stuff that required electrical wiring?

not that active i starteed to go threw the wiring to day and i found that the relay that i checked and pulled the cover off wasent the one that i was hearing have you had much experiance with relays?
