Hello dear VW owners
I own 2 jettas one is a '92 diesel with 483,000 + kms. My other is a '03 tdi 5 speed.
I just changed the timing belt on my '92, and although I got it fired up afterwards; it is running quite rough and with blue smoke, I figure the timing has to be adjusted. I was VERY careful not to move the pulleys when I did the change, but since it is a brand new belt, there is got to be some minor adjustment to do to get the thing running smoothly.
But I just don't know how. And overhere, in northern Alberta; the garages charge anywhere from 100 to 115 bucks an hour.So ,you can see my willingness to get the thing back on the road without THEIR help is well justified. Any suggestion will be appreciated...thanks
