New here & new Jetta (2005 TDI) owner (username BAMF)

Hello everyone. As of last week, I am a proud owner of a 2005 Jetta TDI, 1.9L L4 FI, 5-speed Automatic Transmission (Tiptronic). I would appreciate any comments on do's and don'ts, etc.

A couple of things I have noticed, hopefully you all can give me some insite.

1. Transmission seems to shift "hard". This may be normal.

2. RPM 's @ 65 mph is around 2300. This seems high, but again, may be normal.

This is my first VW and diesel. So any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
